Job summary

Rullion is seeking an energetic Construction Project Manager for a permanent role in Reading, Berkshire. The position is mainly site-based with hybrid working available, demanding strong delivery delivery leadership and NEC4 ECC experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC in Construction/Engineering.
• Strong enabling/infrastructure project delivery experience.
• Experience of managing projects under NEC4 ECC.
• Experience with project controls integrating cost, risk, programme and reporting.
• Experience from pre-construction through mobilisation, construction and close-out.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in nuclear/defence or highly regulated environments desirable.
• Experience with CEMAR or similar NEC contract management systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects from planning to close-out, ensuring timely delivery.
• Manage NEC4 ECC projects, including Early Warnings, Compensation Events, instructions, programme controls and change management.
• Use CEMAR or similar systems to track contractual processes.
• Integrate cost, risk, programme and reporting for project oversight.
• Identify critical activities, dependencies and constraints to drive delivery.
• Act as primary liaison for clients, supply chain, designers and consultants.
• Ensure collaborative yet commercially disciplined working relationships.
• Provide strong leadership and problem-solving to resolve issues; ensure compliance in regulated environments.
