Job summary

Calisen Group Holdings is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Migration Engineer for an outside IR35 contract to lead a major Microsoft 365 and infrastructure migration programme. This office-based role requires five days on-site per week and may involve travel between locations.

You will migrate users, devices and services from legacy environments to a modern platform using Quest migration tooling alongside Microsoft technology.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory administration.
• Experience using Quest migration tooling (or comparable enterprise migration platforms).
• Proven experience supporting enterprise Microsoft 365 and endpoint environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex user, device and infrastructure issues.
• Experience carrying out endpoint remediation and security improvement activities.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 deployment, migration and support.
• Desirable: PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Endpoint Administrator Associate.

Responsibilities

• Delivering user, device and infrastructure migration activities using Quest migration tooling and Microsoft technologies.
• Supporting onsite migration waves, device migrations and user cutover activities.
• Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving migration blockers across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, endpoints and security controls.
• Carrying out endpoint remediation and security hardening activities using Microsoft Intune, Defender and related technologies.
• Implementing infrastructure changes and technical fixes to support successful migrations.
• Working closely with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Project teams to coordinate migration activities and technical readiness.
• Providing hands-on support to end users during migration activities.
• Producing technical documentation, migration procedures, knowledge articles and support handover material.
