Job summary

Calisen Metering seeks an Infrastructure Migration Engineer for an outside IR35 contract, onsite five days a week in the UK. You will drive migrations of users, devices and services to a modern Microsoft 365 platform, resolving blockers and ensuring secure, smooth cutovers.

You will work with Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Project teams, delivering hands-on remediation, documentation and knowledge transfer as part of a major technology transformation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Experience with Quest migration tooling or comparable platforms.
• Proven track record supporting enterprise Microsoft 365 and endpoint environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex user, device and infrastructure issues.
• Endpoint remediation and security improvement experience with Intune/Defender.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 deployment and Azure administration.
• Familiar with Group Policy and Windows Server administration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver user, device and infrastructure migration activities with Microsoft tech.
• Support onsite migration waves and user cutover activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration blockers across 365, AD and endpoints.
• Carry out endpoint remediation and security hardening using Intune/Defender.
• Implement infrastructure changes to enable successful migrations.
• Coordinate with Service Desk, Infra, Cyber Security and Project teams.
• Provide hands-on end-user support during migrations.
• Produce technical docs and migration procedures.
