Job summary

Calisen Group seeks an experienced Infrastructure Migration Engineer on an outside IR35 contract to support a major Microsoft 365 and infrastructure migration programme. The role is office-based and requires five days on site.

You will execute migration activities with Quest tooling and Microsoft technologies, resolve blockers, contribute to security hardening and user cutovers, and work with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Project teams to ensure a smooth transition.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Proven ability to support enterprise Microsoft 365 and endpoint environments.
• Experience with Quest migration tooling or similar enterprise migration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver user, device and infrastructure migration activities using Quest tooling and Microsoft technologies.
• Support onsite migration waves, device migrations and user cutover activities.
• Identify and resolve migration blockers across Microsoft 365, Active Directory and endpoints.
• Carry out endpoint remediation and security hardening with Intune and Defender.
• Implement infrastructure changes to enable successful migrations.
• Coordinate with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Project teams.
• Provide hands-on support to end users during migration activities.
• Produce technical documentation and migration procedures.
