Job summary
UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) seeks an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead enterprise infrastructure services across hybrid locations (Porton Down, Colindale, Chilton). The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical direction to ensure secure, reliable and scalable operations supporting national health security.

Qualifications
- Lifecycle management for VMware environments.
- Lifecycle management for Veeam backup infrastructure.
- Lifecycle management of Fibre Channel or iSCSI networks.
- Ensuring availability, functionality, performance and security of infrastructure.
- Experience leading technical infrastructure teams or transferable leadership skills.
- Deep storage expertise and SAN administration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operational performance, security and resilience of UKHSA infrastructure.
- Lead upgrade, modernization and technology refresh programs.
- Provide technical direction and investment planning for services.
- Drive reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across teams.
