Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4)United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and work closely with technical experts to make a meaningful impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting/stemming station communication faults
  • Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates

Who you are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
