Job Description:

Station Systems Technician (Level 4) - Early & Late Shifts (On-site, United Kingdom)

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions that impact national infrastructure. Be part of a high-performing team working on complex, critical projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 days on, 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts alternating between early (6am-6pm) and late (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend planned and remedial maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Utilize field IT equipment for maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is ideal for hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work 4 on, 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between early and late shifts.
