Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team managing critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies 6am-6pm and Lates 12pm-12am.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
  • Attend planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure SISS assets are maintained and station communication faults are reported and resolved.
  • Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
  • Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.
Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is beneficial.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates.
