Job Description:

Station Systems Technician - Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) (On-site, United Kingdom)

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions that impact national infrastructure. Work alongside technical experts in a high-performing environment focused on complex, critical tasks.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, you will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves 12-hour shifts on a 4 on/4 off schedule, alternating between early (6am-6pm) and late (12pm-12am) shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
  • Participate in planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance activities.
  • Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults.
  • Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
  • Coordinate with the Telent Service Centre for tasks and updates.
Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is ideal for hands-on individuals with multitasking skills and a willingness to learn. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
  • Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
