Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts proud of their impactful work. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies 6am-6pm and Lates 12pm-12am.

Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Perform planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Utilize field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. Ideal for those with experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies and Lates
