Job summary

South Staffordshire College is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to oversee the design, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of the college's servers, storage, operating systems, networking, firewalls, and Microsoft 365 services.

You will provide technical leadership, resolve complex incidents and ensure the infrastructure remains secure, resilient and capable of supporting teaching, learning and business operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise across the College's infrastructure estate, overseeing design, implementation, maintenance, monitoring and optimisation of key components.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical/infrastructure projects and resolve critical incidents.
• Provide technical guidance to colleagues.
• Ensure the College's infrastructure remains secure, resilient and capable of supporting teaching, learning and business operations.
