Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to lead the Unified Communications Infrastructure, delivering data centre and cab-room services across the Trust’s estate. You will manage complex technical environments, coordinate with multiple teams, and participate in on-call rotations with a focus on project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

The role offers a clear progression path with CDCMP/related qualifications and a salary aligned to the Band

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• PRINCE 2 Foundation or equivalent project methodology qualification.
• PRINCE 2 Practitioner or equivalent project methodology qualification.
• Experience of working in technical project teams in voice, contact centre, or IT environment.
• Budget management/financial management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with CAFM solutions and SharePoint environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage tier 2/3 Data Centre and cab room infrastructure.
• Draft standards, protocols, and uplift programmes for cab room environments.
• Oversee cabling standards for voice and data, ensuring safety compliance.
• Support VoIP, hybrid and mobile telephony services across the Trust.
• Collaborate with Trust departments, contractors and external service providers.
• Participate in on-call rota and duty engineer arrangements to ensure continuous support.
