Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd in Oxford is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our technology team, delivering complex infrastructure projects across VMware, networking and server environments.

You'll own implementation, build VMware clusters, design robust LANs and storage flows, and collaborate with project managers to ensure on-time delivery of enterprise-grade solutions. Hands-on problem-solving is essential.

Infrastructure Engineer – Complex Projects | VMware | Networking | Server Infrastructure

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing technology team where you'll be trusted with delivering complex infrastructure projects-not spending your days resetting passwords or working through routine support tickets.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving challenging technical problems across servers, virtualisation, networking and enterprise infrastructure, while working on projects that genuinely shape the environment.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering technical infrastructure solutions across a modern enterprise environment, taking ownership of implementation and working on high-impact engineering projects.

You'll be involved in:

• Designing and implementing infrastructure solutions.
• Building and configuring VMware environments and clusters.
• Working across server, storage and network infrastructure.
• Delivering technical elements of infrastructure projects.
• Supporting enterprise systems in a hands-on engineering capacity.
• Working with new technologies and helping shape future infrastructure.

Project Managers will oversee delivery timelines—you’ll be the technical expert responsible for making the solution work.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is comfortable operating at Infrastructure Engineer level rather than traditional 1st or 2nd Line Support.

• VMware administration and virtualisation experience.
• Strong networking knowledge including LANs, VLANs and routing.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
• Infrastructure implementation and project delivery experience.
• Ability to quickly learn and work with new technologies.
• Storage infrastructure.
• HPC or other complex technical environments.
