Job Opportunity: Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, an MSP based in Surrey, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their technical team. DV clearance is required due to the nature of their clients, but it can be provided. The role involves providing technical support for escalated issues, implementing and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructures, engaging in project work, and resolving technical problems.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain internal IT infrastructure and client infrastructures.
2. Deliver projects as required by stakeholders and clients.
3. Provide technical support for servers and applications.
4. Configure and support firewalls, routers, switches, and servers.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with MSPs is essential.
• DV clearance (to be provided).
• Over 3 years of experience configuring and setting up switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Servers and Desktops.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of VMware and storage solutions (NAS/SAN).
• Understanding of cybersecurity measures (anti-virus, encryption).
• Experience with backups and telephony systems.
