Job summary

QC Legal in Manchester seeks an experienced Planning Partner to lead complex matters in infrastructure and energy projects. You will advise clients through the full planning lifecycle, including DCOs, applications and appeals, while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-value mandates.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing client relationships, generating new work, and mentoring lawyers within a growing planning practice.

Qualifications

• An established Planning Partner with expertise in infrastructure and energy.
• Proven ability in Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and major planning matters.
• Strong track record building client relationships and growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex planning matters with emphasis on infrastructure and energy projects.
• Advise clients through planning processes, including DCOs, planning applications and appeals.
• Act for developers, utilities, energy companies, investors, local authorities and public sector bodies.
• Collaborate across Real Estate, Construction, Environment and Corporate on large multi-disciplinary mandates.
• Play a prominent role in business development and expanding the Northern market.
