Job summary

Skanska UK PLC is seeking a Programme Manager to deliver major infrastructure projects for the Anglian Water Programme in the East of England. You will lead multiple work streams, ensure on-time and safe delivery, and drive value while maintaining governance standards.

Key skills include strong collaboration, stakeholder influence, risk mitigation and negotiating with external partners. This role is based on-site in Peterborough with flexible working options where possible.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience leading projects or work streams in a complex programme.
• Ability to influence a range of stakeholders including external groups.
• Strong negotiating skills and commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, co-ordinate, monitor, review and report on work streams with respect to time, cost, performance and quality
• Identify and manage risks and issues associated with sub-programmes / work streams, determine and initiate mitigating actions
• Identify and manage inter-project and programme dependencies to ensure the successful delivery of the programme alongside other initiatives. Maximise value / minimise cost wherever possible
• Consolidate updates from teams / work stream leads and sponsors, to provide highlight reports for each area and present at relevant programme governance meetings
