Job summary

Ridge & Partners Llp in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cost & Commercial Lead to work with the UK Head of Infrastructure and senior colleagues to grow our cost and commercial services across major infrastructure sectors.

You will lead bids, shape procurement strategies, advise on commercial structures, and build trusted client relationships across transport, energy, utilities, defence and capital programmes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in cost and commercial services across infrastructure.
• Sector exposure across transport, energy, utilities, defence or major public infrastructure.
• Established relationships with infrastructure clients, operators, public bodies, delivery organisations or major programme stakeholders.
• Strong track record of growing client accounts and identifying commercial opportunities within complex organisations.
• Experience across procurement strategy, contract forms, contract administration, change control, estimating and commercial assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Ridge’s national cost and commercial offer across infrastructure sectors.
• Build trusted relationships with infrastructure clients, public bodies and operators.
• Grow client accounts across cost and commercial services, including procurement strategy, contract forms, contract administration, change management, estimating and commercial assurance.
• Advise clients on the commercial structures, controls and decision-making needed to support major projects and long-term capital programmes.
• Lead bids, frameworks and account development activity across infrastructure markets.
• Build and lead multi-disciplinary teams around major client opportunities, drawing on Ridge’s wider expertise in project management, cost consultancy, engineering, sustainability, health and safety and specialist advisory services.
• Help shape the future structure, capability and recruitment priorities of the Infrastructure commercial team as the business continues to grow.
• Represent Ridge externally with senior clients and across the wider infrastructure market.
