Job summary

Assystem UK Ltd is seeking a Consents Advisor to strengthen environmental planning and project delivery for UK infrastructure programmes. You will support management of consents, commitments, and regulatory interfaces across DCOs, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and governance frameworks while helping projects meet milestones.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to prepare applications, monitor deliverables, manage information, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate experience in consents, planning, environmental management or infrastructure delivery.
• Experience on major infrastructure or construction projects.
• Experience supporting delivery under DCO and planning acts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate consents activities across major projects.
• Maintain consents registers and track commitments.
• Prepare applications, approvals, reports and post-consent activities.
• Monitor compliance with scope and regulatory interfaces.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet milestones.
• Identify risks and elevate to project risk management.
