Job summary

Bouygues Travaux Publics SA is seeking a Buyer to join the Lower Thames Crossing programme in the UK. You will deliver procurement strategy and schedules, lead end-to-end procurement processes, and manage a high-performing supply chain to achieve best value and strong governance.

The role focuses on major infrastructure procurement, risk management, and stakeholder alignment to support a green, sustainable project opening in the early 2030s.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement for major infrastructure or construction projects, surface works preferred.
• Strong understanding of the procurement lifecycle from pre-construction to delivery.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver procurement strategies.
• Good knowledge of contract forms, terms, and risk allocation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the procurement strategy and schedule for your area.
• Support end-to-end procurement including tendering, negotiation, award, and contract execution.
• Ensure best value through strong commercial management and negotiation.
• Manage and develop a high-performing supply chain, driving efficiency and cost savings.
• Monitor supplier performance, risk, and financial stability.
• Collaborate with internal teams and act as procurement interface for surface works.
• Track and report procurement performance, risks, and KPIs.
• Ensure full contractual compliance and governance across procurement activities.
