Job summary

Bouygues Travaux Publics is seeking a Procurement Manager (Underground Works) to lead the procurement strategy and end-to-end activities for the Lower Thames Crossing project. You will collaborate with design, delivery, commercial and planning teams to optimise value and programme certainty.

Reporting to Procurement Lead within BMJV, you will drive market engagement, tendering, evaluation and contract execution while managing supplier relationships and governance across high-value packages.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement experience on large infrastructure/civil projects.
• Proven ability to develop and implement procurement strategies for complex work packages.
• Knowledge of contract forms, commercial terms and procurement governance.
• Ability to lead negotiations and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own and deliver procurement strategy and schedule for underground works packages.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities including market engagement, tendering, evaluation and award.
• Collaborate with design, delivery, commercial, planning and assurance teams.
• Provide strategic procurement services across subcontractors, materials and underground works.
• Lead supply chain engagement and performance management to deliver value and programme certainty.
• Maintain robust governance and contract formation across procurement activities.
• Identify risks, escalate issues and propose mitigations.
• Interface with client and internal stakeholders to drive value-for-money.
