Job summary

Bouygues Travaux Publics is seeking an experienced Buyer to join the Lower Thames Crossing programme in the UK, supporting end-to-end procurement for surface works and infrastructure delivery. You will lead the procurement strategy, tendering, negotiations and contract execution to ensure best value across the project.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement within major infrastructure projects, ideally surface works.
• Understanding of the procurement lifecycle from pre-construction to delivery.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver procurement strategies.
• Knowledge of contract forms, commercial terms and risk allocation.
• Strong negotiation, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial acumen and cost awareness.
• Experience leading and developing teams and supply chains.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Deliver the procurement strategy and schedule for your specified area.
• Support end-to-end procurement including tendering, negotiation, award and contract execution.
• Ensure best value outcomes through robust procurement management.
• Manage and develop a high-performing supply chain, driving innovation and cost savings.
• Monitor supplier performance, risk and financial stability.
• Collaborate with internal teams and act as the procurement interface for surface works.
• Track and report procurement performance, risks and KPIs.
• Ensure full contractual compliance and governance across procurement activities.
