bet365 is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to build the next generation of network and infrastructure capabilities. You will drive automation with a vendor-agnostic approach, blending traditional infrastructure engineering with software development.

The role involves using a diverse tech stack to create scalable automation solutions and holds eligibility for inclusion in bet365's hybrid work from home policy.

Qualifications

• IaC principles and infrastructure automation experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL for automation.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching and firewall configs.
• Experience with load balancing, caching and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network automation solutions to reduce manual effort.
• Develop IaC templates to ensure consistent network configurations.
• Collaborate to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements.
• Oversee automation projects from conception to deployment and support.
• Conduct testing to identify and mitigate issues pre- and post-release.
• Build and maintain an automation framework for self-service internal use.
• Document processes and maintain version control for reliability.
• Research emerging network automation tech to propose initiatives.
• Support the automation platform stack through BAU and bug fixes.
