Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) seeks an experienced Information Governance Lead to shape the governance framework of the Healthset Programme, supporting the Epic EPR rollout across four NHS organisations.

You will act as the subject matter expert on Information Governance and Data Protection, collaborating with DPOs, senior leaders, and programme teams to ensure UK GDPR compliance and NHS IG requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Information Governance professional manager.
• Knowledge of GDPR and NHS Information Governance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert leadership on Information Governance and Data Protection across the Healthset Programme.
• Lead DPIAs, Data Sharing Agreements and governance processes for the Epic EPR delivery.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and NHS standards; mitigate information governance risks.
