Job summary

NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board is seeking an Information Governance and Data Protection professional to provide specialist IG and DPIA guidance across the Integrated Care System. The post supports GP practices and ICS information governance compliance in a dynamic digital environment.

Qualifications

• Proof of Qualification in Information governance or equivalent or working towards
• IG/GDPR Practitioner with significant relevant experience
• Experience of managing risks, incidents and reporting
• Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence at SMT level
• Good overall digital literacy and use of day-to-day digital systems

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on data protection legislation, confidentiality and IG requirements
• Support projects and IG resources across ICB and GP practices
• Advise on DPIAs and ensure DPIAs are developed for relevant areas
• Advise on IG incidents, audits and escalation to ICO within timelines
• Develop and deliver IG training programmes
• Support data sharing agreements and information sharing frameworks
• Build relationships with IG, digital and cyber leads across organisations
