Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset seeks an experienced Information Governance specialist to act as the programme's subject matter expert on data protection and information governance for the Healthset Epic EPR rollout. You will lead DPIAs, data sharing agreements and governance processes across organisations.

You will work with DPOs, programme teams and senior stakeholders to ensure compliance with UK GDPR, NHS standards, and internal policies, promoting a culture of information governance and

Qualifications

Masters-level information governance qualification or equivalent experience.
Extensive knowledge of data protection legislation.
Experience leading DPIAs and data sharing agreements.

Responsibilities

Provide expert leadership on information governance, data protection and information risk.
Lead development and implementation of DPIAs and data sharing agreements for Epic EPR.
Work with DPOs and senior stakeholders to ensure compliance with UK GDPR and NHS standards.
Identify and mitigate information governance risks.
Advise on complex information governance matters to support decisions.
Help establish consistent governance across participating organisations.
Contribute to policies, guidance and best practice.
