Job summary

West Berkshire Council is seeking an Information Analyst to join our Customer Engagement & Transformation Service. You will collect, analyse and interpret data to provide insights that inform decisions and improve public services across the organisation.

The role involves extracting and manipulating data from diverse sources, producing accurate reports, identifying trends, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet information needs.

West Berkshire Council is seeking an Information Analyst to join our Customer Engagement & Transformation Service, reporting to the Principal Performance, Research and Information Officer.

The Role
Responsibilities

As an Information Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights and support decision-making within the organisation. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Extracting and manipulating data from various sources to produce accurate and meaningful reports.
  • Conducting analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their information requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Ensuring data integrity and accuracy through regular validation and cleansing processes.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of information management processes and best practices.
