L&Q is recruiting an Information Analyst to join the Business Intelligence & Analytics Team in London. You will deliver insightful reporting, dashboards and KPIs to drive decision-making and improve resident outcomes.

The role focuses on turning data into meaningful insights with Power BI, DAX and SQL, while supporting self-service reporting and data governance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering business intelligence, reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI, DAX and SQL.
• Strong data storytelling skills to communicate complex information and influence decisions.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into meaningful reports and dashboards.
• Track record of defining and reporting KPIs aligned to strategic objectives.

Salary: Starting from £48,691 per annum (London weighted salary) or £42,688 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience

Grade: 9

Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford

Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

As part of our Business Intelligence &Analytics Team, you'll work alongside a talented group of analysts and business stakeholders to deliver impactful reporting, uncover valuable insights, and shape the way data is used across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong Power BI, DAX, and data storytelling expertise, combined with experience in defining, measuring, and reporting key performance indicators. You'll enjoy translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable insights and using trusted data to influence decision-making and drive positive outcomes.

You'll play a key role in driving performance improvement, supporting the delivery of strategic objectives, and empowering colleagues to use data with confidence. Through providing trusted insights and meaningful analysis, you'll help inform decision-making and contribute to improving the resident journey.

This is a permanent position, reporting directly to the Information & Analytics Manager.

Your impact in the role:

• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to monitor, analyse and communicate performance against key strategic objectives and KPIs.
• Deliver proactive and responsive business insight, turning complex data into clear recommendations that drive action and improvement.
• Design, develop and maintain engaging Power BI reports and dashboards using best-practice visualisation and storytelling techniques.
• Support the adoption of self-service reporting by empowering colleagues to confidently access, interpret and utilise data.
• Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and contribute to improving data literacy across the organisation.
• Work closely with data engineers, data modellers, data quality specialists and technical teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of information assets.
• Support the development and governance of trusted reporting solutions aligned with organisational standards and best practice.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience delivering business intelligence, reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI, DAX and SQL.
• Strong data storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and influence decision-making at all levels.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into meaningful reports, dashboards and analytical solutions.
• A track record of defining, developing and reporting against KPIs and performance measures aligned to strategic objectives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience using statistical or quantitative techniques to generate insight.
• Experience promoting data literacy and supporting users to adopt self-service reporting and analytics.
• A proactive approach to data quality, governance and continuous improvement.
• Housing Association or social housing experience is desirable.
