Job summary

Oxford Immunocore is seeking a Scientist - Infectious Diseases to contribute to the ImmTAX platform and related modalities. The role spans target discovery through preclinical development in chronic infections, including HIV/HBV/EBV-related diseases, and will involve work in a CL3 facility with human viruses.

You will plan and perform experiments, analyze data, and present results while collaborating across Research and other departments to drive the company program forward.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology, or related field with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a BSc or MSc with substantial bench experience in the relevant scientific areas.
• Experience in a bench-based lab and proficiency with listed molecular techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute experiments to advance project goals within timeframes.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and communicate findings at internal meetings.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams and contribute to the pipeline progression.
