Capital City College is seeking a Work Experience Officer to act as a bridge between learners and external organisations, identifying industry needs and supporting students to secure placements for successful careers.

You will join a friendly team across the college, contributing to teaching, learning and assessment materials and promoting health and safety practices. DBS checks apply for safeguarding purposes in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience liaising with staff, parents/carers and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to professional self-development and participation in in-service training.
• Experience in industry engagement, business development, or related.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key link between learners and external organisations to identify industry needs.
• Support students to gain placements and develop careers.
• Engage with stakeholders at open events, parents evenings or interviews.
• Comply with College Health and Safety policies and training.
