Job summary

USP College in Benfleet is seeking an organised, proactive Work Experience Team Leader to drive the delivery of the college's work experience and industry placement programme across both campuses. You will ensure learners access meaningful placements and lead a team of Employment Skills Advisors and Industry Placement Advisors while forging strong employer partnerships.

• Experience leading or supervising a team and delivering work experience programmes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with staff, learners and employers.
• Voice safeguarding, health and safety, and data recording awareness in FE settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Work Experience team across campuses.
• Line manage Employment Skills Advisors and Industry Placement Advisors.
• Coordinate work experience and industry placements.
• Plan and oversee the annual work experience schedule.
• Set, monitor and report on team targets and risks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local employers.
• Match learners to suitable opportunities.
• Ensure safeguarding and data recording compliance.
