Job summary

Thales in Glasgow (Hybrid) is launching a dedicated Future Talent Manager - Industry role to lead apprenticeship programmes and graduates toward meaningful careers. You will coach managers, align learning with business needs, and drive high-quality placements across the OME UK business line.

Reporting to the Head of College and Future Talent, you’ll collaborate with education partners, HR, and industry leaders to shape a robust talent pipeline and ensure successful progression into suitable

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting apprenticeships and early career development programs.
• Ability to coach and mentor managers and colleagues.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Industry apprenticeship programmes and ensure delivery.
• Coach and support line and placement managers to develop apprentices.
• Identify future capability requirements with Industry leaders and HR.
• Partner with Future Talent team to coordinate attraction, assessment, onboarding and induction.
• Maintain relationships with colleges and training providers; align learning with workplace experience.
• Monitor apprentice progress, performance and engagement; coordinate timely support.
• Provide pastoral care to graduate programmes across OME UK; support wellbeing.
• Coordinate apprentice pay reviews with managers and Future Talent team.
• Support progression into suitable roles with clear career plans.
• Maintain relationships with former apprentices and graduates for future recruitment.
