Job summary

Thales Group in Glasgow seeks a Future Talent Manager - Industry to lead apprenticeship programs and shape the talent pipeline across the OME UK. You will coach managers, align with HR and education partners, and ensure high-quality experiences for apprentices and graduates.

Role involves coordinating attraction, onboarding and progression, monitoring progress, and sustaining relationships with colleges and providers. A strong focus on inclusion and program governance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting apprenticeships and early career development programs.
• Skilled in coaching and mentoring managers and colleagues.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in program coordination, managing priorities, and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination, oversight and continuous improvement of Industry apprenticeship programmes.
• Coach and support line and placement managers to develop apprentices effectively.
• Identify future capability requirements and align apprentice/recruitment needs with leaders.
• Coordinate attraction, assessment, onboarding and induction activity with Future Talent team.
• Monitor apprentice progress, performance and engagement; identify skills gaps and provide timely support.
• Provide pastoral care to graduate programmes across OME UK.
