Qualifications

• Experience in business development, customer engagement or account development.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and communicate with commercial and technical audiences.

• Good organisation and follow-through, coordinating people to progress opportunities.
• A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience, ideally in engineering, physical sciences or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop lasting relationships with industry customers, understanding their businesses and ambitions.
• Connect customer needs with NMIS expertise to develop proposals with industry impact.
• Shape commercial and collaborative R&D opportunities, developing scopes, proposals and funding applications.
• Build connections across industry networks and supply chains to create opportunities.
• Support a portfolio of customer accounts and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Contribute to CRM-driven processes to maintain follow-up and visibility.
