Job summary

Altro is seeking an Industrialisation Engineer to join the team in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. The role is full-time and permanent, with occasional travel to Dessau, Germany.

You will bridge Product Development, Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to transfer new products into production safely and repeatably. Key duties include planning and reviewing production trials, defining process controls, investigating issues, and driving continuous improvement across production operations

Qualifications

• Experience bridging Product Development and Manufacturing.
• Ability to plan and review production trials and validation activities.
• Experience defining process controls and quality requirements.
• Experience investigating production issues and identifying root causes.
• Ability to analyse manufacturing data and trends to improve process capability.

Responsibilities

• Support the industrialisation and scale-up of new and modified products into manufacturing.
• Plan, coordinate and review production trials and validation activities.
• Define process controls, operating limits and quality requirements.
• Investigate production issues and root causes for corrective actions.
• Analyse manufacturing data and trends to improve process capability and product consistency.
• Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Product Development teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Support plant continuity initiatives and improve manufacturing robustness.
• Ensure technical changes and trials support Zero Harm commitments.
