Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Key Account Manager for the Industrial Water Treatment Division in the UK. You will manage top customers across Slough, London and the South East, combining technical water-treatment knowledge with commercial acumen to grow key accounts.

Responsibilities include targeting sales, site visits, contract negotiations, and monthly financial forecasting, with a focus on food & beverage, metal processing and general manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ of progressive experience in sales/account management in the water treatment industry.
• Graduate degree, preferably in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, or relevant years of experience.
• Sound technical knowledge of cooling tower, boiler water, closed-loop heating and cooling systems, hot water and chilled water treatment products and applications.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to communicate at all levels and meet customer needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and attention to detail to deliver KPI targets.

Responsibilities

• Achieve individual commercial targets within the South area according to business strategy.
• Manage industrial water treatment applications on designated sites, including routine testing on cooling and boiler water systems.
• Handle all sales, account correspondence, contracts, orders, and new business within the territory.
• Forecast area financial performance on a monthly basis.
• Engage with customers in food & beverage, metal processing and general manufacturing sectors.
• Collaborate with Solenis processes and systems to meet customer needs and ensure compliance.
