Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Industrial Software Engineer in Scunthorpe. The role focuses on developing and supporting production-critical applications using C# and SQL within a complex industrial manufacturing setting.

You will work on system integrations, data management, and modernization projects, with hybrid work after probation and a strong emphasis on reliability and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C# development.
• Solid SQL knowledge and database experience.
• Experience integrating complex systems and data flows.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of PLCs or industrial control systems is a plus.
• Python and/or PHP experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support production-critical applications primarily using C# and SQL.
• Troubleshoot systems and integrations across complex manufacturing operations.
• Improve system reliability, data integrity and overall performance.
• Support reporting and visualisation solutions including Grafana and Power BI.
• Contribute to legacy system support and major modernisation projects.
• Work alongside operational, process control and wider technical teams.
