Job summary

Edwards Employment Solutions Ltd in Chesterfield is seeking an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our growing team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves producing high-quality fabric-based products to the required specifications and timescales.

You will operate industrial lockstitch and overlock machines, work with different fabrics, follow production instructions, and help maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience using industrial sewing machines.
• Experience with lockstitch and/or overlock machines.
• Background in sewing, textiles, manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work at pace while maintaining quality.

Sewing Machinist – Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £12.71 – £13.71 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Hours per week: 42.5 hours
Contract: Permanent

Due to continued growth and increased demand, the business is expanding its production team and is looking for skilled Sewing Machinists who take pride in their work and are looking for a long-term, permanent opportunity.

The Role
