Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Advisor to support the delivery of effective Industrial and Employee Relations across Sellafield's operations and projects. You will build relationships with managers, unions, contractors and JV partners, providing practical advice in a highly regulated environment.

This role is not strategic HR; you will be a proactive practitioner who rolls up sleeves, engages with stakeholders at all levels, and delivers outcomes in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the Sellafield environment ideally including a sound knowledge of NAECI and CIJC.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of Industrial Relations and Employee Relations.
• Experience working within a highly unionised environment and engaging directly with Trade Union representatives.
• Experience supporting operational teams and/or major project delivery organisations.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day Industrial Relations and Employee Relations support across Operations and Project delivery organisations within our craft delivery.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with recognised Trade Union representatives.
• Supporting managers with disciplinary, grievance, conduct, attendance and capability matters for our NAECI and CIJC employees.
• Attending and supporting consultation meetings, hearings and employee engagement forums.
• Working collaboratively across with Joint Ventures and Major Projects, with other contractor organisations to manage workforce issues and maintain productive working relationships.
• Providing practical advice on the application of site agreements, policies and procedures.
• Supporting organisational change, project mobilisation and workforce interventions where industrial relations considerations are critical.
• Identifying emerging workforce issues and resolving concerns before they escape.
