Job summary

RGB Network is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer to service and maintain refrigeration systems across customer sites in the Midlands and surrounding areas. You will cover East & West Midlands, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire on a mobile basis, with a company van and fuel card provided.

The role is 8:30am - 5:00pm with door-to-door travel paid at 1.5x overtime. Training including exposure to ammonia systems is available as you develop your career in industrial refrigeration.

Qualifications

• Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience.
• F-Gas / C&G 2079 qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Professional approach to customers and site work.
• Willingness to develop within industrial refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and fault finding of refrigeration and chilling systems at customer sites.
• Glycol chillers and industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Support large-scale refrigeration plant.
• Ammonia project and service work.
• Work within operational food production and distribution environments.

The Opportunity

We're working with a leading global specialist in industrial refrigeration and air conditioning who are continuing to grow their UK operation following a number of successful project wins.

They're looking to add an experienced Industrial Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer to their established Midlands team.

This is an opportunity to join a growing business, work with major customers across the food production and distribution sectors, and develop your career further within industrial refrigeration.

Already working in industrial refrigeration? Great.

Coming from a commercial refrigeration background and looking to make the move into industrial? That could work too. The business is happy to provide additional training and development, including exposure to ammonia systems.

What You'll Be Doing

Working as part of the commercial and industrial refrigeration division, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance and fault finding of refrigeration and chilling systems across customer sites.

Your work will include:

• Industrial refrigeration systems


• Glycol chillers


• Service and planned maintenance


• Fault finding and breakdown response


• Supporting large-scale refrigeration plant


• Ammonia project and service work


• Working within operational food production and distribution environments

You’ll cover East & West Midlands, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire on a mobile basis.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for engineers with:

• Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience


• F-Gas / C&G 2079


• Full UK Driving Licence


• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills


• A professional approach to customers and site work


• A willingness to develop within industrial refrigeration


• Industrial refrigeration experience is desirable, but not essential for the right commercial refrigeration engineer with the attitude and fundamentals to make the transition.
