Job summary

RGB in the Midlands is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer for a permanent role covering Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and surrounding areas. Working 8:30am to 5:00pm, you will service, maintain and repair industrial and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems for major customers in food production and distribution.

Travel is door-to-door paid with overtime at 1.5x. Salary ranges from £46,000 to £50,000 annually, with a company van and fuel card, pension, sick

Qualifications

• Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience.
• F-Gas / CandG 2079 certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A professional approach to customers and site work.
• Willingness to develop within industrial refrigeration.
• Industrial refrigeration experience desirable but not essential for the right commercial engineer.

We’re working with a leading global specialist in industrial refrigeration and air conditioning who are continuing to grow their UK operation following a number of successful project wins. They’re looking to add an experienced Industrial Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer to their established Midlands team. This is an opportunity to join a growing business, work with major customers across the food production and distribution sectors, and develop your career further within industrial refrigeration. Already working in industrial refrigeration£ Great. Coming from a commercial refrigeration background and looking to make the move into industrial£ That could work too. The business is happy to provide additional training and development, including exposure to ammonia systems.

What You''ll Be Doing

Working as part of the commercial and industrial refrigeration division, you’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance and fault finding of refrigeration and chilling systems across customer sites. Your work will include:

• - Industrial refrigeration systems
• - Glycol chillers
• - Service and planned maintenance
• - Fault finding and breakdown response
• - Supporting large-scale refrigeration plant
• - Ammonia project and service work
• - Working within operational food production and distribution environments

You’ll cover East and West Midlands, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire on a mobile basis.
