Job summary

RGB Network is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer to join our Midlands team, covering Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain and fault-find refrigeration and chilling systems on customer sites across the East & West Midlands, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire on a mobile basis.

The role offers a practical path for engineers from commercial refrigeration to expand into industrial projects, with training and exposure to ammonia

Qualifications

• Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience.
• F-Gas / C&G 2079.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A professional approach to customers and site work.
• A willingness to develop within industrial refrigeration.
• Industrial refrigeration experience is desirable, but not essential for the right commercial refrigeration engineer with the attitude and fundamentals to make the transition.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and fault-find refrigeration and chilling systems across customer sites.
• Work within the commercial and industrial refrigeration division as part of a team.
• Cover East & West Midlands, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire on a mobile basis.

The Opportunity

We’re working with a leading global specialist in industrial refrigeration and air conditioning who are continuing to grow their UK operation following a number of successful project wins.

They’re looking to add an experienced Industrial Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer to their established Midlands team.

This is an opportunity to join a growing business, work with major customers across the food production and distribution sectors, and develop your career further within industrial refrigeration.

Already working in industrial refrigeration? Great.

Coming from a commercial refrigeration background and looking to make the move into industrial? That could work too. The business is happy to provide additional training and development, including exposure to ammonia systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working as part of the commercial and industrial refrigeration division, you’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance and fault finding of refrigeration and chilling systems across customer sites.

Your work will include:

• Industrial refrigeration systems


• Glycol chillers


• Service and planned maintenance


• Fault finding and breakdown response


• Supporting large-scale refrigeration plant


• Ammonia project and service work


• Working within operational food production and distribution environments

You’ll cover East & West Midlands, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire on a mobile basis.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for engineers with:
