Job summary

NOV Process & Flow Technologies in Greater Manchester is seeking a Skilled Fitter to assemble and test engineered pumping and mixing solutions. You will read engineering drawings, use workshop tools, and work both independently and as part of larger assemblies to ensure safety, reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Experience with hand and power tools in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial pumps, mixers and engineered equipment per drawings and specs.
• Interpret drawings and instructions to ensure accurate builds.
• Carry out mechanical assembly of components and sub-assemblies with quality workmanship.
• Perform production testing and complete documentation accurately.
• Work independently on bench fitting and with teams on larger projects.
