Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology in the United Kingdom is seeking a Time served Mechanical Fitter to join our assembly team, working on pumps for OE and aftermarket orders. You will build, dismantle, and service pumps while following work instructions and maintaining quality standards.

The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, teamwork, and strong communication, with potential on-site service and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Time served Mechanical Fitter with up to 3 years relevant experience preferably in heavy manufacturing.
• Have an understanding and experience of lean manufacturing techniques.
• Team Player with high level of energy and commitment required for participating in and implementing change.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new pumps for OE and aftermarket orders efficiently in line with work instructions.
• Dismantle and assemble repair/service pumps within laid down parameters.
• Work within assembly to ensure economic manufacturing to the correct quality standard.
• Responsible for your own quality of work, self-inspection and completion of paperwork and checklists.
• Assist Operations Manager with problems in the assembly department; coordinate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Assist in preparing/updating assembly documentation, programs, and tooling.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to drive down costs and increase productivity.
• If required, attend customer sites to carry out service work for the company.
• Work in other areas when required; support policy implementation and safety guidelines.
• Provide training support to peers and apprentices within assembly.
