Sheffield City Council is seeking to strengthen its Digital Delivery service in Sheffield. The role focuses on delivering secure, resilient digital infrastructure and modernising services for residents and staff.

The team collaborates with services, suppliers and partners to ensure technology investments deliver value and drive continuous improvement across the Council’s digital landscape.

Digital Delivery

The Digital Delivery Service provides the technology foundations, leadership and governance that enable Sheffield City Council to deliver secure, resilient and customer-focused digital services. We design, deliver and support the infrastructure, platforms and operational services that keep the Council running, while driving continuous improvement, cyber resilience and modern ways of working.

Working collaboratively with services, suppliers and partners, we ensure technology investments deliver value, support transformation and provide a reliable foundation for the Council’s future ambitions.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
