Arup offers an Industry Placement for a Civil Engineer in Energy, Water & Resources in the United Kingdom. You will work on real projects from day one, supported by senior engineers, with learning sessions, site visits and social events to develop your professional network.

We seek partly completed Civil Engineering students aiming for a 2:1 or above, strong numerical and communication skills, and a passion for sustainable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Partly completed a degree in Civil Engineering, aiming for a 2:1 or above.
• Strong numerical and verbal/written communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a team and learn in a dynamic environment.
• Interest in sustainable infrastructure and digital methods.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out assessment, analysis and design
• Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines
• Involvement in meetings with clients and site visits
• Developing engineering sketches and reports
