Job summary

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment and plant systems, ensuring safe, efficient operations. You will perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting, read schematics, and execute preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

This role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with motors, drives, bearings, belts, chains, and gear reducers.
• Basic understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and restore production quickly and safely.
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance tasks per PM schedules.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Install, align, and test motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and related equipment.
• Perform basic PLC troubleshooting (inputs/outputs, sensors, fault codes).
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), safety, and plant procedures.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, shutdowns, and new installations.
• Communicate issues and recommendations to supervisors and operators.
