Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Technician to join its engineering team in Ayrshire. This hands-on role covers maintenance across fixed and mobile plant, with a focus on reliability and uptime in a busy industrial environment.

You will perform planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance, diagnose faults and drive improvements. The successful candidate will collaborate with production and engineering colleagues to keep operations running

Qualifications

• Carrying out planned, preventative, predictive and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnosing faults and implementing solutions to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining and inspecting electrical equipment across fixed and mobile plant.
• Recording maintenance activities and supporting KPI reporting.
• Collaborating with operations to meet site maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative, predictive and reactive electrical maintenance across plant and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and troubleshoot to minimise downtime.
• Maintain electrical equipment across fixed and mobile plant.
• Provide specialist technical support to maximise availability and efficiency.
• Respond to unplanned breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Support RCA and engineering improvement initiatives.
• Complete maintenance activities in line with schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain maintenance records and plant history using CMMS.
• Record maintenance activities to support KPI reporting.
• Work with production to meet site requirements and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety regulations.
