Job summary

Morson Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a Congleton site. The role involves maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment, responding to breakdowns and supporting a proactive maintenance strategy to reduce downtime.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and help improve machine reliability with a focus on safety and Lean TPM practices. Shift flexibility is required, including weekends and nights as needed.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments and CMMS usage.

Responsibilities

• Lead rapid electrical and mechanical fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose faults and restore equipment to safe, efficient operation.
• Support automated, robotic and manufacturing equipment maintenance.
