Job summary

Lumentum Caswell site in the United Kingdom seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead safe, reliable maintenance of buildings, process support services and critical infrastructure. You will champion planned maintenance, drive a proactive maintenance culture and coordinate between production, engineering, EHS and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing maintenance in complex industrial or cleanroom environments.
• Leads multi-skilled engineering teams and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of PPM and condition-based maintenance.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, HVAC and building-services systems.
• Budgets, suppliers and service-contract management experience.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance.
• Ability to plan work around production constraints.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the site maintenance team and contractors.
• Develop and deliver the planned preventive maintenance programme.
• Reduce reactive maintenance, repeat failures and unplanned downtime.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards across critical infrastructure and systems.
• Ensure all inspections, testing and certification are completed on time.
• Maintain maintenance records, asset registers and compliance documentation.
• Manage maintenance budgets, PO's, suppliers and contractor performance.
• Induct and control contractors on site and coordinate around production.
• Plan maintenance around production requirements and approve interruptions.
• Support investigations into failures and drive root-cause analysis.
• Lead continuous-improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
