Job summary

Industrial Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a battery recycling operation in Darlaston. Salary £45,000-£50,000 per annum, with weekly rotating shifts 06:00-14:00 and 11:00-19:00, depending on experience.

The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, reducing downtime, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. Suitable candidates have mechanical and electrical training and relevant industrial maintenance

Qualifications

• Mechanical training and electrical training are required.
• Previous maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment is expected.
• Strong fault-finding and practical problem-solving skills are essential.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts in line with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on site machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete repairs.
• Respond to breakdowns and help minimise downtime.
• Complete routine equipment inspections and maintenance records.
• Support improvements to equipment reliability.
• Work in accordance with site health and safety procedures.
